Gratitude Journaling Meditative Soundscape

Duration: 45-mins
Level: All-levels

Gratitude is the antidote to average. When gratitude becomes a deliberate daily practice of celebrating your blessings through writing, your brain begins to release dopamine (the inspirational neurotransmitter) and serotonin (the pleasure neurotransmitter). Over time, you would have created a pharmacy of mastery to rewire your brain to notice all the beautiful things in your life. And imagine what that does for your productivity, focus, bravery, quality of work and relationships and being a great human being. In this class, we are invited to explore our current emotional landscape and using your journal-writing to release any stuck emotional tension. Alchemy crystal singing bowls will be played to immerse you into a deeper feelings of ease and clarity.

Grab your journal, a pen and a cuppa tea and let’s start counting our blessings! (Headphones/earphones recommended for the most optimal soundscape experience)

The special harmonic frequencies of alchemy crystal singing bowls will serve to support even deeper relaxation of your mind and promote a healthier sense of well-being. The practice will end with a beautiful Savasana soundscape – drawing a close to the work week into the weekend.

About Theresa Lim

In 2018, amidst the physical and emotional adjustments of having moved back from London to Singapore, yoga found Theresa and they fell in love . Since then, she has quit the corporate world, travelled for 7 months and made the most beautiful life decision – dedicating 34 days to herself in Bali to undertake a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. That experience taught her that working on your inner empire is how you can begin to build external empires. Theresa is passionate about meeting people where they are and walking the journey together in coming home to themselves – that every experience is not just about going through it, but rather, to grow through it. Sharing her love of Yin yoga, breath work, meditation and alchemy crystal singing bowls, she believes there is power in being a living testimony of how showing up and taking responsibility for your thoughts and deeds is the first step in self-love and empowerment.

Dear Friends,

We have given much consideration with regards to the safe phasing in of Singapore towards a “safe nation”. We have made the decision not to hold any physical mass events this year for the health safety of participants, local and overseas yoga teachers, and the community, until we have entered a state of “safe nation”. Hence, Yogafest W.E 2020 that was postponed to 1 & 2 August 2020 will not be taking place.

However, as part of our core advocacy of positively impacting communities and in conjunction with Get Active Singapore!, we are excited to announce that for this year, we will be bringing Yogafest to you virtually in the safety and comfort of your homes.

Yogafest Virtual 2020 is a 14-day yoga festival with more than 120 classes from world iconic and expert yoga teachers, offering weekday programmes suited for your work from home schedules, and day long weekend programmes. Classes are suited for all-levels. From complete beginners, to veteran yogis, we invite you to immerse in this 14-day yoga wellness journey.

Our AcroVillage segment shall be brought forward to our next physical Yogafest, due to the contact nature of AcroYoga.

Current Yogafest W.E. 2020 ticket holders will be provided free access to Yogafest Virtual 2020 – a redemption code for free sign up to Yogafest Virtual 2020 will be emailed to all ticket holders. In addition, current Yogafest W.E. 2020 tickets will also be valid for Yogafest W.E. 2021 or 2022, and for any other festivals organised by TLG Festivals through 2021 to 2022.
