A dynamic and therapeutic practice that combines mobility, flexibility and breathwork. Poses and movements include Dynamic and Static stretches aimed to promote healing for overworked hips, knees, thighs and calves. Get ready to move and stretch your body to its maximum range of motion and feel stronger and balanced. This practice aims to help in injury prevention and muscle recovery. Poses are held for five breaths, connecting the body and mind through deep myofascial release. Tailored for students who are athletes, runners, cyclists  and those with pre-existing injuries.

Immunity Booster Yoga

Duration: 60-mins
Level: All-levels

A slow detoxifying flow that includes breathing practice and yoga poses aimed to restore balance to the mind, body and spirit. Incorporating twists, forward bends, backbends and mild inversions, this sequence helps to stimulate the digestive, lymphatic and immune systems. Poses are held for five breaths, connecting the body and mind through deep and mindful breathing. Suitable for all levels. 

About Herna Mohari

Herna has been practicing Yoga for 10 years and teaching it for the last 8 years. Initially, practicing Yoga was a way for her to cope with the stress of a hectic lifestyle of a schoolteacher and a single mother. After experiencing Diastasis of her abdominals after childbirth, she wanted to strengthen her Core through Yoga. Now, Herna hopes to share the benefits of Yoga with everyone as it has brought her many positive changes. Through mind-body awareness, Yoga keeps her centred and she feels stronger. Herna is a 300HR RYT. Currently, Herna teaches Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yoga Therapy, Athletic Stretch, TRX and Pilates. She is a senior coach at UFC Gym Singapore Citylink and has taught for Ministry of Fitness Singapore, The Yoga Co, Nawal Haddad Fitness, Anytime Fitness and One Wellness Fitness Club.

We have given much consideration with regards to the safe phasing in of Singapore towards a “safe nation”. We have made the decision not to hold any physical mass events this year for the health safety of participants, local and overseas yoga teachers, and the community, until we have entered a state of “safe nation”. Hence, Yogafest W.E 2020 that was postponed to 1 & 2 August 2020 will not be taking place.

However, as part of our core advocacy of positively impacting communities and in conjunction with Get Active Singapore!, we are excited to announce that for this year, we will be bringing Yogafest to you virtually in the safety and comfort of your homes.

Yogafest Virtual 2020 is a 14-day yoga festival with more than 120 classes from world iconic and expert yoga teachers, offering weekday programmes suited for your work from home schedules, and day long weekend programmes. Classes are suited for all-levels. From complete beginners, to veteran yogis, we invite you to immerse in this 14-day yoga wellness journey.

Our AcroVillage segment shall be brought forward to our next physical Yogafest, due to the contact nature of AcroYoga.

Current Yogafest W.E. 2020 ticket holders will be provided free access to Yogafest Virtual 2020 – a redemption code for free sign up to Yogafest Virtual 2020 will be emailed to all ticket holders.
